Pourtant, malgr\u00e9 sa courte vie, certains d\u00e9tails ne pouvaient qu&rsquo;attirer les Flous du Volant.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On a les amis qu&rsquo;on m\u00e9rite, dit-on. C&rsquo;est pour \u00e7a qu&rsquo;un ami proche m&rsquo;a envoy\u00e9, en pleine nuit, le week-end dernier, une photo d&rsquo;une brochure japonaise pour le moins \u00e9trange. Dessus, une MX-5, jusque l\u00e0, tout va bien. Les deux marques n&rsquo;ont rien en commun. M\u00eame si les europ\u00e9ennes (notamment les fran\u00e7aises) se paient le luxe de l&rsquo;exotisme, avec la ligne de tarif qui va avec, rien ne va.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La gamme Eunos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En cr\u00e9ant cette nouvelle marque, Mazda souhaite monter en gamme, \u00e0 l&rsquo;instar du succ\u00e8s des trois autres grands constructeurs nippons Outre-Pacifique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour assurer une certaine r\u00e9ussite en terme de ventes, d\u00e9cision est prise d&rsquo;ouvrir un nouveau r\u00e9seau de distribution, directement d\u00e9pendant de Mazda. Elle sera assez rapidement \u00e9toff\u00e9e avec la 500 (notre Xedos 6), la 800 (notre Xedos 9), la Presso (notre MX-3) et surtout la Cosmo, v\u00e9ritable navire amiral de la gamme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Et Citro\u00ebn dans tout \u00e7a ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le fin mot de l&rsquo;histoire est plut\u00f4t pragmatique en fait. La gamme \u00e9tant assez restreinte lors du lancement d&rsquo;Eunos, Mazda s&rsquo;est alli\u00e9 \u00e0 Citro\u00ebn afin d&rsquo;offrir une gamme large, et surtout associ\u00e9e au luxe et \u00e0 la technologie du constructeur fran\u00e7ais. Malheureusement, la bulle \u00e9conomique japonaise de la fin des ann\u00e9es 1980 s&rsquo;effondre. Les espoirs d&rsquo;atteindre 500 concessions s&rsquo;envolent. En 1996, la firme d&rsquo;Hiroshima arr\u00eate les frais et ferme Eunos, laissant Citro\u00ebn aux mains de l&rsquo;autre importateur, Seibu Motor Sales Co. <br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maintenant, vous pouvez briller dans les diners mondains en pouvant affirmer que Citro\u00ebn partageait ses showrooms nippons avec le fleuron de l&rsquo;industrie japonaise.
